Will you help us equip this important church
for its future ministry?

Restoration
of stained glass at Holy Trinity Utrecht, the Netherlands (built
1913, with windows by Henry Thomas Bosdet: contracted cost €170,000).
This neo-gothic
church's windows are, due to passage of time, in need of urgent
repairs to the glass, mullions, saddle bars and adjoining brickwork.
Bosdet (see www.bosdet.org.uk)
is a fine stained glass artist and it is important that this example
of his work is preserved to a high standard, for the enjoyment both
of the several congregations that worship at Holy Trinity and the
many who visit it for heritage and cultural reasons as a local monument.
Holy Trinity is a thriving church, in a European university city,
with a developing international student ministry. The chaplain,
an art historian by profession, lectures on religious art. As the
church has been afforded monument status by the local authority,
it attracts a 50% grant towards the works; the church has to date
raised €31,000, leaving another €64,000/£56,588
to be found.
Your gift would
be a great encouragement: just send in your donation made out to
'Intercontinental Church Society' and in a covering note express
the wish that ICS uses your gift towards the building project at
this church, or call us with your credit or debit card to hand.
You can also donate online
- just select for example 'Utrecht - Holy Trinity - building project'
from the drop down menu -
but transaction fees will be deducted from your gift so it is usually
more cost-efficient to call us to make a credit card donation. Please
also consider making an additional gift to ICS's general fund for
the benefit of our wider work.
If you have found this web site helpful please make
a donation to help us maintain the site and spread the good
news of Jesus Christ. We depend solely on donations from individuals,
churches and trusts to make our work possible. Thank you.
