places are listed
(as in Directory of English-speaking Churches Abroad) the Canary
and Balearic Islands are listed under Spain, and Corfu is listed under
Greece.
Churches/chaplaincies
linked to ICS
These are all ones where ICS has responsibility for recruiting the chaplain,
in which ICS associate chaplains minister, or which are seasonal chaplaincies
organised by ICS (who recruits and trains the chaplains). All these chaplains
share ICS's concern to make known the good news of Jesus Christ, and we
hope you will find (amongst many other good things) faithful biblical
teaching and application at the heart of what they do (see our Basis
of Faith).

Telephone
numbers
All phone numbers are listed as if you are calling from outside
the country concerned. So a number in The Netherlands might be listed
as +31 20 - 624 8877. The symbol '+' shows you where you should insert
the phone system code used in the country you are dialling from which
allows you to make an international call. In most of Europe this is 00,
so you would dial 00 31 20 - 624 8877. In the USA or Canada it is 011
so you dial 011 31 etc.
If you wish to phone
this number from within the Netherlands, just replace the country code
(+31) with 0 - so you dial 020 - 624 8877. For countries like Ukraine,
there is already a 0 after the country code, so just omit the country
code.
