How to
apply for a vacancy for a permanent chaplain
- Please contact
ajskuse@ics-uk.org for an
information pack or you can download the information sheets about
the post and forms below.
- Applications
need to be made on our standard application (and Information about
spouse, if applicable) forms which can be found under Standard
documents.
- If a specific
form is needed for a particular post or diocese these will be found
under the relevant Post-related documents list.
- Enhanced disclosure
will be required.

or Reader and thinking of moving to live in continental Europe?
If you
have skills and abilities that you could offer in the service of an
English-speaking chaplaincy, ICS is often aware of places where chaplains
would value additional volunteer help, so contact us for information.
You would of course need to contact the Archdeacon concerned and let
him know of your interest so that you can explore the necessary licence
or permission to officiate - contact details can be found on the appropriate
diocesan web site.
Reaching
international students and youth with the gospel
ICS encourages churches it partners to reach out with
the Christian gospel to young people and students. Several of them have
(from time to time) vacancies for student workers, interns or youth
workers. If you are interested in working in such Christian roles (some
are volunteer posts and some come with modest remuneration) e-mail the
church you are interested in directly using the links on our Churches
abroad section, or e-mail ICS
with your CV and we will let you know if there are any vacancies likely.
