Become a mission partner

Associate Ministry Partners are chaplains working in chaplaincies not gifted to (are part of) ICS where the chaplain (and if possible the chaplaincy) wish to be identified with ICS and subscribe fully to the ICS Basis of Faith.

Associate Ministry Partners of ICS are:

  • appointed to chaplaincies, or other ministry posts, which are not in the permanent or temporary gift of ICS and where the chaplain wishes to be identified with ICS;
  • willing to subscribe fully to the Basis of Faith;
  • ICS Members (this requires formal application and the payment of an annual subscription in accordance with the provisions set out on the forms below, whilst an Associate Ministry Partner);
  • willing to encourage their chaplaincies or congregations to support ICS;
  • licensed by the Diocesan Bishop of the Diocese in which they serve;
  • those whose application to be an ICS Associate Ministry Partner is formally supported by the chaplaincy or congregation council.

 ICS will:

  • include chaplains and their chaplaincies in the ICS Prayer Diary;
  • invite them to the annual Chaplains and Families’ Conference;
  • consider them part of the ICS family, send chaplains’ mailings, offer advice and help as requested; we will also hold your information on our database and send you regular ICS mailings.

Autumn Appeal 2020

Autumn Appeal 2020

In Good Times and Bad, ICS ministry continues. We face huge challenges yes, but we adapt, innovate, fail at times, pick ourselves up and continue, confident that God still reigns and is not taken by surprise by Covid-19 and its impact. However, we are only able to carry on doing what we do because of the loyal, sacrificial support from our members and friends. Read more
