A few surprises, as Christ Church Cathedral celebrates the 150th anniversary of first Bishop of the Falklands, Waite Hockin Stirling, with a wide-ranging conversation and an unexpected cast of Yagan Indians!

It’s all part of a reassessment of one of the most famous characters in the early history of these Islands – part missionary who spent time working with the Yamana people in Tierra del Fuego; part Bishop running a diocese covering almost the whole of South America; part sailor and brave pioneer, sailing his own boat, travelling vast distances and living alone among a hostile people. We rediscover Stirling House in Puerto Williams and revive links with the past as we wish a Yagan grandmother a Happy 92nd Birthday!

You are welcome to join us for a fascinating, musical way of combining prayers, readings and hymns as Christ Church celebrates Trinity Sunday. It’s all happening in the Virtual Cathedral…
