A spectacular sunrise greeted families and friends of the most southerly Cathedral in the world at the Easter morning Dawn Service held at Cape Pembroke, Falkland Islands. A large black sealion and a Southern Right Whale helped swell the congregation but did not come for the bacon breakfast offered!

Inside the Cathedral, a full SATB choir later led a well-attended joyful service that began with a Ceremony of Light and included a double baptism. The strains of Ave verum corpus lent a spine-tingling quality to the administration of Communion.
