On Monday 7 June, Archbishop Mouneer Hanna and his wife Nancy were honoured for their long service in the church (about 21 years) as Archbishop and another 21 years in Menouf Hospital affiliated with the church, where the Archbishop served as a doctor and then director of a hospital.

During the ceremony in All Saints Cathedral, glimpses were offered of the life of Archbishop Mouneer Hanna, his service in the church, and his social, cultural and religious role through the various activities provided by the Episcopal/Anglican Church throughout his presidency.

The following day, Tuesday 8 June, new Archbishop Samy Fawzy was inaugurated as Archbishop of the Episcopal/Anglican Province of Alexandria and Bishop of the Diocese of Egypt by Dr. Mouneer Hanna Anis, Archbishop of the Episcopal/Anglican Province of Alexandria, who devotes himself to spiritual service among the bishops.

All Saints’ Cathedral was lit up to welcome archbishops from around the world, most notably Archbishop Josiah Feron (Secretary-General of the Anglican Communion in the World), Archbishop Justin Badi (Archbishop of South Sudan and President of the Global South), Archbishop Ezekiel Kondo (Archbishop of Sudan) and Archbishop Foley Beach (Archbishop of the Anglican Church in North America).

The church also received a number of statesmen and public figures, in addition to representatives of all Christian denominations and the people of the church.
