About us Our work Permanent Mission Permanent Mission ICS is a international Anglican Mission Agency and a Patronage Society owning church buildings and clergy housing across Europe as bases for outreach. We recruit and nominate chaplains to Diocesan Bishops to serve in cross-cultural mission and ministry in international Anglican churches. ICS chaplains are asked to fully subscribe to the ICS Basis of Faith. All chaplains linked to ICS work under the licence of the Bishop in whose Anglican Diocese they minister and work under his/her authority. Keep an eye on our vacancies and find out more here if ministry in an ICS chaplaincy is for you. Associate Ministry Partners ICS links with Associate Ministry Partners, clergy who choose to link to ICS with their chaplaincy's support. Associate Ministry Partners are part of the ICS family, they will receive our mailings, are offered advice and help as requested. We pray for them in the ICS Prayer Diary and they will be invited to the ICS Chaplains and Families' Conference. In some special circumstances, ICS can help with National Insurance Class II contributions. Associate Ministry Partners are members of ICS and fully subscribe to the ICS Basis of Faith and agree to the ICS Safeguarding Policy. Become a member of ICS Become an ICS Associate Ministry Partner Supporting our Ministry Partners ICS supports mission partners through one-to-one coaching on Zoom or Skype. This allows new mission partners to receive in-depth coaching as they settle into a role or helps existing mission partners who face challenges. Find out more here. ICS organises the Chaplains and Families' Conference which takes place either in the UK or mainland Europe. This is a joy-filled week where chaplains from all over Europe, the Middle East and occasionally further afield gather to celebrate, pray, agonise and learn together. ICS is able to draw exceptional bible teachers and speakers to be part of the programme. If you would like to help a chaplain and family attend the conference, please donate here.
