Wengen 05/24 Hi! I'm Jim, and I work for the Intercontinental Church Society as part-time Seasonal Misison Manager. That means I have the pleasure and privilege of organising the team of chaplains who come to serve you here in Wengen and in other resorts during the summer and winter seasons. I also get the chance to be part of the team myself from time to time. I'm also part-time vicar in a village parish in Warwickshire. I'll be here, together with my wife Nicola, to start the season. Wengen is very special to us, with our first visit being during our honeymoon (a year or two ago!). We first came to serve as the chaplaincy team with our children for Christmas 2004, and have made a number of visits since, including for our Silver Wedding anniversary when the then chaplain, the late Jim Duxbury, led a lovely service for us to reaffirm our vows. If you're around for the start of the summer season, do come and visit St Bernard's for Sunday worship, our Thursday Social Hour - or just drop in for a quiet moment in this beautiful place of peace, and meet privately with the loving creator God who himself joined us for a while on earth as Jesus.
