Canon Dr  Herrick Daniel studied theology at Brasted and Trinity Theological colleges, and is the holder of three degrees. He was ordained at St Paul’s Cathedral in 1975, served curacies at St Mark’s Harlesden and St Andrew’s Blackburn and was vicar of St Barnabas Blackburn for 27 years. He was made canon at Blackburn Cathedral, and is well known in the diocese for building a church and community centre, housing a bookshop, college, and café.

He is married to Judy, who supports him in his ministry and they have 5 grown up children. Herrick is chairman of Lancashire prayer conference for revival in Lancashire and the Nation. He is passionate about prayer and proclaiming the Gospel.
