Wengen 2020/06/23 Elizabeth Bussmann lives just above Lake Thun with her husband Edi, who is Swiss, and their Golden Retriever, Monty. Elizabeth has lived in Switzerland, on and off, for many years. They moved to Lake Thun after returning from 14 years in England in 2014. Elizabeth has served as a deacon in the Swiss Reformed Church, as an evangelist with Church Army, and as Priest in the Church of England. Her last parish was a joint benefice in Surrey. Since returning to Switzerland, Elizabeth has ministered in a number of chaplaincies in Switzerland and other European countries as a locum priest. Her main work, however, is as Environment Officer for the Diocese in Europe, which has improved her geographical knowledge considerably! Elizabeth is particularly interested in the Hebrew context of Jesus' teaching and enjoys the new found time to study the Bible in more depth. Walking with husband and dog, reading, listening to classical music and gardening are also amongst her interests.
