  • Where to pray?
  1. Support us
  2. Where to pray

Where to pray?

‘Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain.  Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.’ Psalm 127 v 1 (New International Version)

ICS believes passionately that our work is ineffective without the life-giving blessing of God. So prayer is our priority. To this end we encourage people to pray for our work individually, in groups and as churches.

ICS Prayer Groups meet around the UK who faithfully pray for the ministries. Groups are made up of supporters in a locality who agree to meet (say monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly) in a church or home. Some meet also for coffee, lunch or supper (before or after the sharing of news and prayer) which builds friendship and fellowship.

There are ICS prayer groups in Cambridge, Cheltenham, Exeter, Edinburgh, Keighley, Norfolk, North Birmingham, Northern Ireland, the South East, Warwick and Wirral.

Do get in touch and phone for more information, 024-7646 3940 or find the meeting dates on the final page of ICS News.

Spring Appeal 2021

Unfortunately, for the second year running we have had to cancel the Chaplains and Families' Conference. Being able to connect together is vital to the wellbeing and flourishing of our mission partners as they often work in isolation, away from the usual support mechanisms. Read more
