They are looking for an experienced, ordained priest of conservative evangelical conviction to lead them into a period of growth, through outreach to the numerous anglophone residents in and visitors to the region. He/she needs excellent Bible-teaching, pastoral and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to relate well ecumenically and across traditions, social backgrounds and cultures. This language school teaches Arabic to foreigners and English or other languages to local people or refugees. They have two centres, one in Zamalek and one in Maadi. The school will be in need of new leadership starting in July. Ideally, this person would be the English ETC director and also teach English, develop the English curriculum, and help find new English teachers. The Arabic side of the programme already has a director and teachers, but they are looking for help on the English side. This person would have the opportunity to learn Arabic through ETC, but wouldn’t be required to know Arabic before arrival. We envision someone who could commit to three or more years here in Cairo.
