Shrove Tuesday Pancakes in Ibiza

Shrove Tuesday in Ibiza turned out to be a gloriously warm and sunny day after a period of atrociously wild and windy weather. Hundreds of pancakes were consumed with more than twelve different savoury and sweet fillings.

Organised by Sarah Milburn, who commented: ‘I like to call these events ‘‘fun-raisers’’ rather than the more usual ‘‘fundraiser’’ as that is what they are meant to be – although we do try, and do need them to be, both!

I would like to thank everyone who attended, and those that donated without attending, our annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake party. The weather stayed fine, and people were sitting outside and wandering in the garden.
