St Peter’s is the church of Zermatt’s English-speaking residents and visitors.  It was built by ICS, we maintain and ensure that chaplains are available to lead Sunday services and meet with visitors in Zermatt. Services are conducted in English. Read more of the history here.

The running of our Zermatt ministry costs about £15,000 a year and is paid for by supporters. If ICS chaplains in Zermatt have helped you and you value being able to worship at St Peter’s, please join the ‘Friend of St Peter’s Zermatt’ scheme. Your prayers and donations will keep worship and outreach going. Regular gifts are especially helpful for planning and stability. Please sign up today.

I’m the Archdeacon of Bradford in the Diocese of Leeds, which means I help oversee all the Church of England churches in the Metropolitan District of Bradford.  I’ve also been a vicar in Birmingham for many years, a management consultant with clients across Europe, and an engineer in the motor industry.   My theological studies have included a doctorate looking at how people apply their faith to the world of work.

I’ve been skiing for 38 years and love the mountains, and so I’m delighted to be serving in Zermatt again this season.  I’m married to Ricky, who is a GP, and we have two grown up children.
