Beacon Data Breach

Intercontinental Church Society was made aware on the 3rd August of a cyber security incident affecting Beacon, our CRM (Customer Management System) which contains our supporters’ personal information. Over 1,000 charities and organisations across the UK use Beacon.

We understand that news like this can cause concern. We are working closely with Beacon to understand what this incident may mean for us, and whether our information has been affected. We are still awaiting further information while Beacon’s investigation continues. However, all your payment card information remains safe as this was encrypted separately.

At this stage, there is no action required from our supporters. If the investigation identifies that any of our data has been affected, we will contact those individuals directly as soon as reasonably practical and provide further information and support.
