Feeling blessed in Corfu

On Sunday 7 June, we began the day at the sea, where Sanna renewed her baptism vows. What a beautiful and moving occasion it was. We are so happy for her and send her our warmest congratulations and prayers.

We also had the pleasure of singing and celebrating our dear Val’s 80th birthday. Happy Birthday, Val!

At the same time, we said goodbye (for now) to Simon and Clare, ICS Short-term Mission Chaplains. During their time on Corfu, they led prayer meetings and bible studies, sharing their faith, encouragement and friendship so generously with us. We are deeply grateful for all they have given to our community and look forward to seeing them again.

We also welcomed Steve Leslie and Violetta as they were formally sworn in as our churchwardens. Thank you both for your willingness to serve and support the life of Holy Trinity.

Days like these remind us how blessed we are to belong to this community – a church family filled with friendship, faith, laughter and people always ready to help one another.
