Welcoming new Mission Partners

On Wednesday 10 June, we welcomed to the ICS office new mission partners John and Janice Brett. John will be licensed at All Saints Cathedral Cairo in October to be the new Priest for the English-speaking congregation. It was a real pleasure also to be joined by the Revd Canon Mike Parker. Mike with his wife Helen looked after the ministry in Cairo from 2009-2013.

John and Janice currently lead Hope Church Longsight in Manchester, an Antioch Church in the Church of England Diocese of Manchester https://www.antiochnetwork.org.uk

Please pray for them in the coming months, to finish well with their work in Manchester, including handing over the church planting network they have been leading, and as they begin to say goodbye to friends and family. Also, for their language learning, as they adapt to the Sudanese and Egyptian Arabic spoken in Cairo.
