Preparing for Ordination

At St John’s and St Philip The Hague, at Café Connect, a few happy tears were shed. The reason was that Carola handed over a new stole (clergy scarf) to Katherine Fortier as she will shortly be ordained.

On 28 June, at Holy Trinity Pro-Cathedral Brussels, Assistant Chaplain Revd Chris Nicholls and Chaplain Revd Canon Michael Roden will formally hand over this stole after Katherine’s ordination by Bishop Robert. It will be Michael’s final action before his retirement at the end of the month. He writes ‘whilst I will feel wistful at that moment it is great to be adding a new, but familiar face to the clergy team. She will be a great minister here! We pray every blessing for her in her new ministry.’
