A chilly day, but a very warm welcome from friends and colleagues as Christ Church Lille celebrated the installation of their new Chaplain,
The Revd Vivian Sockett, on Saturday 10 October.
As Patron of Christ Church Lille, Vivian was presented by ICS Recruitment and Short-term Mission Manager,
The Revd Canon Tim Wright, and licensed by the Acting Archdeacon The Revd Canon Ben Harding.
This marks a new chapter of ministry for Christ Church Lille after a difficult time as their church building was damaged by fire earlier this year and clean-up operations are ongoing. The church gave a huge thanks to their Protestant friends for allowing the use of their beautiful building for the service.
We welcome Vivian and her family to Christ Church Lille and pray for her in her ministry and for the church as they welcome her and worship together.
