The first ICS Church Planting Training took place in Lyon from 28 September to 1 October 2026, following months of preparation and prayer. The training was designed for teams preparing to launch a new church or worshipping community within the next year.
Across the ICS community, teams are at different stages—from exploring possibilities and praying about where and with whom to begin, to building teams, securing locations, receiving a green light, or preparing to launch. The Lyon training forms part of the wider ICS College of Church Planters, providing equipping alongside ongoing prayer, encouragement, invitation and support, while helping shape future church-planting strategy across Europe and beyond.
Teams gathered from France, North Africa and Belgium, we value your continued prayers and for new encounters with the Lord!
